1. The first time Sibyll remembers meeting Severus Snape she wonders how he can handle being pulled in two directions at once, and longs to ask how he manages to keep going when he most wishes to rest. She never got a chance to tell him that he was the main reason she kept going when the darkness was overwhelming.
2. Sibyll first saw the portent for death when she was only seven, she and a few of her friends had been out playing when she a large black dog came running up to her best friend and sat and watched her. Sibyll thought nothing of it at the time, and went home shortly thereafter. She found out later what the dog had truly meant, and has since tried to protect those for whom the feel of death is strong.
3. She never was good at deciphering what the stars foretold, it was part of the reason she was upset about being replaced by Firenze, she’s still uncertain about what the movements of the planets mean but she is learning more from the books she recommends.
4. Sibyll was almost married once. It was simple ceremony with a few witnesses, everything was going smoothly until at the start of the vows her groom turned to speak to her and he got as far as saying her name before he died. Sibyll recalled too late that she had seen this in the cards and had foolishly brushed it aside thinking it could never happen to her. She keeps a picture of them in their wedding finery on her table in her apartment.
5. She was a teenager when she learned to read beneath the words. All it took was for one innocent looking wolf to speak sweetly venomous words before she lost faith in believing that there was only good in the world. This was also the point in time when she started paying more attention to what her inner eye saw then what she saw for herself.
6. Sibyll’s reason for not mingling with the staff and students of Hogwarts isn’t completely rubbish, but even when she seeks human companionship she loses herself in what she knows the others can’t see. Maybe that’s why she ignored Minerva’s comment during Christmas lunch, because Minerva keeps her balanced.
7. Her apartment in the North Tower is kept sound proofed so that when she wakes screaming in the night she won’t disturb any of the staff, some of the things she Sees in her sleep would most likely change the mind of any non believer. Of course that is if she could only remember them beyond snippets of images and conversations.
8. Sibyll has no true home outside of Hogwarts, all of her family’s belongings are in a safe at Gringott’s as they have been since the strange dream she had at 12 when she watched the family home burn to the ground. The fire didn’t occur until five days later, by which time everything of importance had since been moved to keep her and her mother from hysterics.
9. Sibyll has several bookcases in her apartment all but two are filled with a variety of texts that she studied since she started schooling, the other two bookcases hold a variety of romance books that keep her from getting too lonely at night.
10. She first wanted to study Potions as her main focus, realizing after the fact that she wasn’t meant for that profession after blowing up more cauldrons in practice then any current student at Hogwarts. She has since shifted her focus to Herbology as it pertains to Divination.
